I tidied my room today. It really was a NOUN. Mum said I had to do it Right Now or she would confiscate my NOUN. Since I can’t live without my NOUN, I had to comply. I started with my NOUNS, which were covering the entire floor. I put some of my NOUNS in my drawer but it was kind of hard to decide what was clean and what was ADJECTIVE so I dumped the rest in the NOUN. Mum gave me an ADJECTIVE look but she didn’t say anything.
My room was already starting to look quite ADJECTIVE.
Next I decided to VERB the surfaces. My NOUNS went back on the NOUN. Everything else fitted under the NOUN if I squashed it in. You could hardly see it.
Beneath it all, I found my long-lost NOUN, from when I was about NUMBER. I sat down to read all the ADJECTIVE things I had written. My New Year’s Resolution that year had been to keep my room ADJECTIVE. Oh well.
