How To Play

Each text is accompanied by a list of word types. First, compile a list of words that fits the descriptions given.

This game is funnier if you write your list of words before reading the text.

Word types:
adjective – a word that describes what something is like e.g. shiny, green, explosive, wild
adverb – a word that describes how something is done e.g. quickly, loudly, happily, lazily
exclamation – something you might shout out e.g. ouch! wow! zoo-wee-mama! jeepers!
noun – a word that names something e.g. cat, raindrop, tree, blanket
verb – a word that describes an action e.g. eat, laugh, explore, create
